Oh gosh fluctuations. We have them too! We have frost this week and the magnolia that came to bloom last week, as it was so warm then, is now brown and looking rather sad
Solidarity in the fluctuations! I think often of what I was writing this time last year, how spring IS the fluctuations. I think Spring comes in fits and starts, just like it’s supposed to… and I’ve got to get on board!
You should have seen me shout across the flat to asking my other half for words that rhyme with what I had in mind. His suggestions weren’t very helpful but that’s beyond the point 😅
Such a wonderful poem. I feel I need a lot of that right now! I felt overstretched since January though will try and take it easy now it’s the school holidays and catch up a bit, apart from starting a whole new publication!! 😄
Wow same here, Kate! Whirlwind of a few months. Hope things calm down for you soon too! We have a holiday planned over Easter.
So exciting with your publication! I decided against a second and add more variety here. What made you choose to add a second one? Different topic or other aspects too?
My second one is called ‘therapeutic writers on Substack’ . I love writing about writing and want to share my tips and journey for others writing about mental health and well-being. It’s not relevant to most of my subscribers so I took the plunge and created a second one. I am excited about it! Maybe you’d like it - if you’re interested read about it here: https://lettersfromtherapy.substack.com/p/302am-and-sleepless-a-call-for-therapeutic
Chasing spring joy! Yes, please!
How’s spring over in Canada? Has it arrived yet Erin?
Yes, spring has arrived and is doing its fluctuating thing! It is slow and beautiful to watch unfold.

just subscribed 😍 thanks for sharing!
Ahh that’s great, thanks for joining! I had better start writing! 😄💜🙏🏻
Fabulous poem and brilliant message, this was exactly what I needed! A deep exhale, thank you Carmen xx
I‘m so glad my worlds found their way to you at the right time.
It’s so funny, I had no plans to write and share today.
Things just poured out of me, words I needed to hear myself and by writing, I did. Finally. Hope your Sunday ways as sunny as ours, Lyndsay! Xx
Oh Carmen, I adore your poem!
Love this, and feeling very similar in this season xx
