It does always shift perspective, yes. Egypt was an interesting experience, it’s very exhausting though so you’d need to want an active holiday and maybe not a chill peaceful one when you decide to go 😅
Such a beautifullyy written newsletter Carmen! Sounds like Egypt was a trip full of some great realisations. I absolutely loved every reflection of yours, especially the one that having problems beyond food and shelter is a luxury. So true.
Thank you for reading Mansi! Totally, sometimes a different perspective is needed to appreciate again what we already have. Of course all “problems “ are valid, just proportionality is sometimes important. I was thinking of my corporate “challenges” and how irrelevant they felt in Cairo
Wow I needed this today! Embarrassingly I’ve had such angst for an upcoming trip to Portugal (we leave Thursday— 2 days!) and this post brought me back down to Earth… thank you for the comfort I didn’t know I’d receive today ❣️ Hope your trip is/was amazing!
I have never been to Egypt but it’s on my bucket list! Travel never fails to shake things up for me…it always brings clarity ✨

Getting a new perspective is my favorite part of traveling. It’s always good to shake things up. Enjoy!
We’re back in Germany enjoying the heat here but still processing all the shake ups and perspectives we gained 💃
